Siamese Toast at Pin KaowOriginally uploaded by Tombrarian
These are the wonderful and strangely addictive Siamese Toasts at Pin Kaow (the one on Eastern Ave). They are not on the regular menu but have been one of the appetizer specials for a long time now. I worry that one day they will vanish just as mysteriously as they appeared.

This is yesterday’s lunch, which I remembered to take a picture of but forgot to post. It’s an omelet with broccoli rabe, garlic, leeks, prosciutto, and goat’s milk mozzarella. Good times.

Cugino’s, the Italian deli across the street from campus, which is owned by real-live New Yorkers, now carries Tasteykakes. Actually, I’m no longer that big of a fan, but I certainly have a nostalgic fondness for them, have downed QUITE a few growing up.
