I have made a previous attempt to blog in the past but was unable to keep up with it.  Part of the problem was that I narrowly defined what I wanted to accomplish.  This time I know better, and I shall resist the urge to state what this blog will be about other than library stuff (apologies to Library Stuff).

 The timing of this new attempt coincides with 2 upcoming events.  One is the Computers in Libraries Conference.  I will be attending all week, including a workshop on Tuesday morning and will be presenting on Friday afternoon. 

The other event will be the Philadelphia Film Festival in April, which, last year, was the impetus for my above-mentioned aborted blog.  I am a long time movie fan and am currently a Media Services Librarian, so the film festival is one of my favorite events.
